With its friendly atmosphere and diverse crowd, The Cuckfield is a proper modern local, ideal for a lazy pub lunch, a slap-up Sunday roast or a well-earned pint to help wash away the stresses of the day. The pub is a converted 19th century coaching inn, with artwork and original features built around a huge roaring fire, which in winter attracts the lovely people of Wanstead like moths to a flame.
